HDR, Inc. is seeking a Global Mining Practice Business Development Leader to drive client engagement, strategic account development and major pursuits across the mining sector. You’ll lead capture planning, shape market strategy and align capabilities to client needs.

This senior role requires 15+ years in mining, a strong NA/EU/Australia network, and proven ability to win high-value contracts while guiding cross-functional teams and nurturing partnerships for durable growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, geology, environmental science, business or related field (advanced degree asset).
• Professional engineering, geoscience or relevant registration.
• 15+ years mining-industry experience with a record of winning multidisciplinary mining assignments.

Responsibilities

• Lead global mining practice growth and strategic account development.
• Build strategic client relationships with mining companies and partners.
• Lead capture planning and major pursuit strategy for high-value opportunities.
• Shape market strategy based on commodity outlooks and capital plans.
• Coordinate across HDR groups to deploy integrated mining solutions.
