Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a Global Mining Practice Business Development Leader to drive growth across a dynamic global mining sector. You will lead strategic account planning, capture management and cross-group collaboration to win high-value opportunities.

You will develop prioritized growth plans, manage client relationships and coordinate multidisciplinary teams across HDR’s geographies. A 15+ year mining background and strong leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years relevant industry experience.
• Self-starter with a history of completing projects with limited oversight.
• Deep knowledge of the A/E/C industry's procurement of professional services.
• Ability to motivate and inspire others.
• Proven ability to build a network of clients and industry partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead global Mining Practice growth: establish and execute a global BD strategy.
• Build strategic client relationships: act as trusted advisor to mining companies and partners.
• Drive major pursuits: lead capture planning, positioning and proposal strategy.
• Shape market strategy: translate commodity outlooks into account and service-line priorities.
• Coordinate HDR groups to present integrated mining solutions.
• Coach and mentor regional leaders in account planning and pursuit practices.
• Identify leadership and marketing talent to support the Mining Practice strategy.
