Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a Global Mining Practice Business Development Leader to drive client engagement, strategic account development and market growth across a dynamic global mining sector.

You will lead major pursuits, shape market strategy and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions for mining clients. With a minimum of 15 years in the industry, you will leverage deep mining relationships and a track record of winning high-value contracts to grow HDR’s global mining

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, geology, environmental science, business or a related field.
• Professional registration in engineering, geoscience or related credentials, or equivalent senior mining-industry experience.
• Demonstrated experience winning high-value, multidisciplinary mining assignments and developing long-term strategic accounts in North America, Europe and Australia.
• Experience across multiple commodities, geographies, regulatory jurisdictions and stages of the mine life cycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead global mining practice growth by establishing and executing a global business development strategy to grow bookings, revenue, backlog and market share.
• Build strategic client relationships as a trusted advisor to mining companies and key partners.
• Drive major pursuits with capture planning, positioning and proposal strategy for complex, high-value mining opportunities.
• Shape market strategy by translating commodity outlooks and regulatory drivers into account and geography priorities.
• Coordinate across HDR groups to present integrated mining solutions and deploy qualified teams.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, geology, environmental science, business or related field
