HDR, Inc. is actively seeking a Global Mining Practice Business Development Leader to advance client engagement and strategic growth across global mining markets.

You will lead major pursuits, shape market strategy and coordinate HDR’s integrated capabilities to win high-value opportunities. The role requires strong leadership, a deep mining-industry network and the ability to drive multi-disciplinary teams across geographies to deliver differentiated client solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, geology, environmental science, business or a related field.
• Professional engineering or geoscience registration or equivalent senior mining-industry experience.
• Demonstrated success winning high-value, multidisciplinary mining assignments and developing long-term strategic accounts.
• Experience across commodities, geographies, regulatory jurisdictions and mine life-cycle stages.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic account planning for priority mining clients and map relationships.
• Develop growth plans by geography, commodity and project life-cycle stage.
• Coordinate across HDR groups to present integrated mining solutions.
• Drive capture planning, positioning and proposals for high-value opportunities.
• Build partnerships with technology providers and contractors to extend capabilities.
