Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a Global Mining Practice Business Development Leader to drive growth across the mine lifecycle. You will lead strategic account development, pursue high-value opportunities, and align HDR’s integrated capabilities with client needs in North America and beyond.

You’ll build trusted relationships with mining clients, partners and teams, guide capture strategies, and shape market approach while coaching rising leaders and expanding HDR’s position in global mining.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in mining or related industry.
• Self-starter with limited oversight.
• Knowledge of procurement in A/E/C industry.
• Ability to motivate others.
• Network of clients and industry partners.
• Experience in sales & win strategies.
• Strong financial acumen & negotiation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficient MS Office applications.
• Willingness to travel and engage in-person.
• Experience growing programs in new/competitive markets.
• Experience winning high-value contracts.
• Experience writing content from technical staff.
