Job summary

EY is seeking a Global Microsoft Industrial & Energy Alliance Relationship Director to lead alliance strategy, governance, and joint GTM across EY's Industrial & Energy sectors in the US. You will coordinate with Microsoft Global Alliance Leadership, EY sector leadership, and regional teams to drive activation and performance insights.

The role requires deep enterprise technology knowledge, proven alliance management, and the ability to translate industry priorities into Microsoft-enabled

Qualifications

• Provide leadership in relationship management, governance oversight, marketing strategy, contract management, financial management, content management, operational support, strong relationship building skills and highly organized.
• Deep Industrial & Energy industry expertise across multiple sectors with knowledge of market, regulatory, sustainability, supply chain, data, AI, and tech trends driving growth and transformation.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft ecosystem - including Azure, Data & AI, Security, Business Applications and Copilot - and the ability to position these capabilities against transformation priorities.
• Ability to translate Industrial & Energy client priorities into Microsoft-enabled alliance plays, joint go-to-market activities, pipeline acceleration and priority account activation.
• Experience in alliance management, go-to-market activation or sector-led growth in a tech or professional services company.
• Experience in building and nurturing win-win alliance relationships with stakeholders.
• Highly credible communicator with excellent organization and project management skills and a track record delivering alliance sales and revenue outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Execute Microsoft Industrial & Energy alliance strategy and objectives in alignment with Global Alliance priorities and EY sector growth agenda.
• Facilitate top-to-top Microsoft and EY relationships and program management to mobilize on strategic sector opportunities and drive action.
• Drive governance with clear accountability across practices, sectors, accounts and regions.
• Provide actionable insights to Microsoft Alliance executives and EY leadership, including pipeline and market observations.
• Support identification, development and activation of Microsoft priority solutions and partner programs across Industrial & Energy.
• Deliver alliance intelligence with financial reporting, impact, pipeline visibility and activation insights.
• Identify and activate priority accounts, supporting business plans and governing contracts as needed.
• Drive compliance with internal policies, independence requirements and commercial requirements.
• Collaborate with Enablement and Brand, Marketing and Communications teams to define sector messaging and campaign materials.
• Partner with regional leaders to execute alliance marketing and enablement activities.
• Contribute to the Global Alliance network with content, market insights and best practices.
