Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics is seeking a Senior Global Account Executive in Illinois to hunt for new business opportunities and secure multi-million-dollar logistics deals. You will build lasting relationships with supply chain leaders, expand our global reach, and drive revenue through strategic solutions and proactive account management.

The role requires a proven sales record in freight forwarding, strong communication, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Six (6) or more years’ global freight forwarding sales experience is required.
• Proven track record of leading successful sales deals in a commission environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify and initiate global business development opportunities.
• Develop and execute a business plan to achieve sales quota and budget.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and provide tailored solutions.
• Prepare and deliver presentations to potential clients.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Provide regular sales reports, forecasts and KPI updates.
