Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a remote benefits and leave administration specialist to support US leave cases, with a global scope including UK and Canada. You will own inquiries, coordinate with Sparrow for US leave handling, and manage benefits communications and plan administration.

Responsibilities include audits, HIPAA compliance, 401(k) administration, and billing support, with weekly team meetings. This is a contract, fully remote role requiring EST alignment.

Qualifications

• US leave-of-absence administration experience
• Benefits administration experience
• HIPAA and GDPR/compliance awareness
• Contract role; remote with EST time zone

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact, responding to internal employee and partner inquiries regarding coverage, claims, and enrollment
• Coordinate and support external and internal partners
• Develop and send employee communications regarding any benefit changes or updates
• Conduct recurring and ad-hoc audits with attention to detail; investigate and solve discrepancies
• Partner with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient benefit plan administration
• Coordinate broker/carrier upskilling sessions
• Billing and invoicing support
• Maintain digital storage of plan documents and employee resources
• Maintain HIPAA compliance
• 401(k) plan administration
• Internal and external system testing and review, as needed
