Job summary

SBH Fashion is seeking an experienced Benefits & Leave of Absence Manager to oversee employee benefits programs and US/Canada leave processes. The role requires hands-on administration, strong regulatory knowledge, and collaboration with payroll, vendors, and HR partners.

The ideal candidate will manage FMLA, ADA, and provincial leaves, maintain accurate records, ensure compliance, and communicate effectively with employees and managers across both countries in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in benefits and/or leave administration.
• Hands-on leave of absence experience in both the United States and Canada.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. leave requirements (FMLA, ADA, state/local) and disability leaves.
• Knowledge of Canadian statutory leave requirements across provinces.
• Experience working with benefits vendors, payroll, and HRIS systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage administration of employee benefits programs (health, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement).
• Oversee full leave of absence lifecycle in the U.S. and Canada.
• Coordinate with benefits vendors, payroll, and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, provincial, and local requirements.
• Maintain accurate leave and benefits records.
• Provide guidance on eligibility, documentation, and return-to-work processes.
• Support benefits enrollment and open enrollment activities.
• Monitor changes in U.S. and Canadian regulations and update policies.
• Handle sensitive employee information with discretion.
