Job summary

Smartsheet seeks a Benefits Partner to administer US leave programs, benefit plans, and data accuracy with Workday and Smartsheet systems. You will drive compliance, partner with payroll and legal, and support open enrollment while delivering strong service to employees.

The role is part of Global Benefits, reporting to the Manager, Benefits, and is remote-eligible in the US. A 2+ year benefits background and a bachelor’s degree are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, HR, Business Admin or related field.
• 2+ years of comparable benefits experience.
• Experience using Google for Work, Smartsheet, and Workday preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy for audits and data management.
• Experience working with confidential information and programs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to present to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end administration of US leave of absence and accommodation programs (FMLA, ADA).
• Support and coordinate benefits programs (health, 401(k), spending accounts, life insurance).
• Audit benefits data and ensure HRIS accuracy (Workday) and vendor systems.
• Respond to employee inquiries and deliver strong customer service.
• Collaborate with payroll, procurement, Legal, and vendors on data and programs.
• Support annual open enrollment, renewals, and plan audits.
• Report utilization, cost trends, and competitive benchmarking to leadership.
• Stay compliant with regulatory changes and company policies.
