Job summary

Workday is seeking a Manager of Learning Experience Design to lead a global team responsible for end-to-end learning experiences for revenue teams. You will set the standard for excellent learning and coach designers to deliver high-quality work on time.

You’ll define governance for Revenue, CX, and Partner materials, stay ahead in learning science and AI-powered development, and use tools like Articulate 360, Sana Learn, Synthesia, and LMS platforms to drive engagement and measurable impact.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in instructional design or learning experience design in a corporate environment.
• 3+ years in a leadership or management role leading learning experience designers, content creators, or curriculum managers.
• Deep knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE, SAM).
• Proficient with the LXD technology landscape, including authoring tools and LMS platforms, video editing software, content management platforms, and AI tools, with coaching experience.
• Experienced in measuring learning effectiveness and business impact through data analysis and KPI definition.
• Skilled in managing complex, multi-workstream projects in a fast-paced global environment with scoping, resource planning, and timeline management.
• Demonstrated ability to coach and develop team members and help them advance in their careers.
• 5+ years in the technology industry, ideally in B2B enterprise SaaS.
• Excellent communication skills, adaptable to different audiences and senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a global team of Learning Experience Design professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence in instructional design
• Guide the design and development of learning assets across formats using modern authoring tools and delivery channels
• Oversee scoping, management, and delivery of complex instructional design projects from start to finish, coaching the team on timelines and resources
• Review and validate the quality of learning content created by cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with governance and standards
• Scope and define Workday's learning management governance model for Revenue, CX, and Partner learning materials
• Monitor and analyze KPIs to measure learning effectiveness and business impact, using data-driven insights
• Stay current with advances in learning science and AI-powered development, coaching the team to adopt new approaches
