Job summary

Workday seeks a Manager of Learning Experience Design to lead a global team responsible for end-to-end learning experiences for revenue-generating teams. You will set the standard for excellence and coach the team to deliver at that level.

You will oversee complex projects from scoping to delivery, define governance for Revenue/CX/Partner learning, and push innovative approaches including AI-powered development to boost learner engagement and business impact.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive experience in instructional design or learning experience design in a corporate environment.
• 3+ years of experience in a leadership or management role in LXD.
• Deep knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies (ADDIE, SAM).
• Proficient with LXD tools and LMS platforms, AI tools, and data-driven measurement of learning impact.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a global team of Learning Experience Design professionals.
• Design and develop a wide range of learning assets (e-learning, vILT/ILT, videos, simulations, assessments).
• Oversee scoping, management, and delivery of complex instructional design projects.
• Review and validate quality of learning content against standards and governance.
• Define and govern Workday's learning management governance model for Revenue, CX, and Partner materials.
• Monitor KPIs to measure learning effectiveness and business impact.
• Stay current with advances in learning science and AI-powered development.
