Job summary

Transaction Network Services (TNS) is seeking a Field Support Engineer to maintain and troubleshoot global IP and network services for Financial Markets. You will handle incident tickets, perform hands-on device configuration, and coordinate with vendors to ensure service stability.

The role requires strong routing knowledge, 24x7 availability on a rotating basis, and experience supporting NOC environments. A degree in CS or related field and ITIL familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience configuring and troubleshooting large-scale TCP/IP networks.
• Familiarity with IP routing protocols and incident management.
• Experience in a financial markets environment preferred.
• ITIL Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide support of global large scale TCP/IP, VPN and MPLS networks.
• Hands-on configuration and troubleshooting of Cisco, Arista and Juniper devices.
• Vendor management with Cisco and Juniper TAC.
• Second-level network and protocol troubleshooting.
• Coordinate network maintenance and change management activities.
• Provide on-call escalation support on a rotating schedule.
• Incident management to restore services with minimal disruption.
• Work as part of a 24x7 IP Desk rotation.
