Job summary

Transaction Network Services (TNS) is seeking a skilled Network Support Engineer for its Financial Markets Global IP Desk. You will handle global TCP/IP, VPN, and MPLS networks, perform hands-on routing/configuration for Cisco, Arista, and Juniper devices, and coordinate with vendor TACs for rapid incident resolution.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, collaboration with a global NOC, and ability to work rotating on-call shifts to maintain uninterrupted IP services.

Qualifications

• TCP/IP, VPN, MPLS and routing knowledge including OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, RIP, IS-IS.
• Hands-on configuration and troubleshooting of Cisco, Arista and Juniper routers and switches.
• ITIL Certification and ITSM basics.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, communications software, and Visio.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for global large scale TCP/IP, VPN and MPLS networks including routing protocols.
• Perform hands-on configuration and troubleshooting of Cisco, Arista and Juniper devices.
• Interface with Cisco and Juniper TAC for vendor support and escalation.
• Second-level network and protocol troubleshooting and debugging.
• Coordinate maintenance and change management per policy.
• Provide on-call escalation on a rotating schedule.
• Ensure incident restoration with minimal service impact.
