Job summary

Transaction Network Services seeks a Network Support Engineer to provide on-site and remote support for large-scale TCP/IP, VPN, and MPLS networks. You’ll handle incident tickets, triage, and escalation while ensuring high availability for financial markets infrastructure.

The role requires hands-on Cisco/Arista/Juniper experience, strong routing knowledge, and excellent communication with customers. ITIL familiarity and commitment to 24x7 coverage are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience with troubleshooting networks and circuits.
• Experience with IP routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, IS-IS).
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• ITIL familiarity and demonstrated teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide support of global large scale TCP/IP, VPN and MPLS networks to include OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, RIP, IS-IS protocols.
• Hands-on configuration and troubleshooting of Cisco, Arista and Juniper routers and switches.
• Vendor management, to include extensive interface with Cisco and Juniper TAC.
• Second-level network and protocol troubleshooting and debugging.
• Coordinate, schedule and support network maintenance and change management activities.
• Provide on-call escalation support including after hours on a rotating schedule.
• Incident management to restore clients and network incidents with minimal impact.
