Job summary

Transaction Network Services is seeking a skilled Network Engineer to support the Financial Markets infrastructure, handling large-scale TCP/IP networks, VPNs, and MPLS. You will diagnose complex routing, hardware, and protocol issues, and coordinate with Cisco/Juniper/TAC for resolutions.

This role requires strong customer-facing abilities and incident management. The candidate should have hands-on experience with Cisco, Arista and Juniper equipment, and a background in ITIL processes, NOC

Qualifications

• Experience in global IP networking and large-scale TCP/IP environments.
• Experience with incident management and customer-facing support.
• Familiarity with Financial Markets is a plus.
• Understanding of exchange market data and order routing protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide support of global large scale TCP/IP, VPN and MPLS networks across OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, RIP, IS-IS.
• Hands-on configuration and troubleshooting of Cisco, Arista and Juniper routers and switches.
• Vendor management interfacing with Cisco and Juniper TAC.
• Second-level network and protocol troubleshooting and debugging.
• Coordinate, schedule and support network maintenance and change activities; adhere to Change Management Policy.
• Provide on-call escalation support on a rotating schedule.
• Perform Operational Readiness checks for project handover to NOC.
• Manage incidents to restore service with minimal impact.
