Job summary

Transaction Network Services is seeking a seasoned IP desk engineer to support global TCP/IP, VPN, and MPLS networks within Financial Markets infrastructure. You will troubleshoot complex routing, hardware, and protocol issues on Cisco, Arista, and Juniper gear, while coordinating with NOC engineers and customers worldwide.

The role requires hands-on network operations experience, ITIL familiarity, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Networking, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP and routing protocols; experience with large-scale networks.
• Experience with Cisco, Arista, Juniper hardware and network management tooling.

Responsibilities

• Provide support of global large-scale TCP/IP, VPN, and MPLS networks; manage incidents.
• Hands-on configuration and troubleshooting of Cisco, Arista, and Juniper routers/switches.
• Coordinate with NOC and Global IP Desk to deliver 24x7 coverage; follow Change Management policy.
• Raise tickets and provide triage using runbooks; communicate with customers effectively.
