Job summary

Transaction Network Services is seeking a Network Support Engineer to provide on-site and remote assistance for its Global IP Desk. You will manage TCP/IP, VPN, MPLS networks and participate in incident resolution with second-level escalation to Cisco and Juniper TAC.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in network operations, ITIL awareness, and strong communication with customers. This role requires rotating after-hours support and close collaboration with a global NOC team.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of troubleshooting circuits and network operations
• Experience with NOC environments and external customers
• Knowledge of change management processes
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Visio, and communications software
• ITIL certification or familiarity is preferred
• Understanding of Financial Markets is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical or non-technical product support to customers
• Raise service incidents and route to appropriate engineers
• Resolve IP network issues including routing and hardware problems
• Coordinate network maintenance and change management activities
• Provide after-hours escalation on a rotating schedule
• Engage NOC engineers to drive incident resolution
• Monitor event management systems and inbound communications
• Support 24x7 IP Desk coverage as part of a global team
