Job summary

Transaction Network Services seeks a Network Support Engineer to join the Global IP Desk in Texas. You will provide on-site technical and non-technical support for the Financial Markets infrastructure, manage incident tickets, and coordinate with Cisco/Juniper TAC as needed.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting large-scale TCP/IP, VPN, and MPLS networks, configuring Cisco/Arista/Juniper gear, and ensuring rapid restoration of services. Strong communication and ITIL familiarity preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VPN, MPLS networking.
• Experience with network routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, RIP, IS-IS).
• Experience supporting financial markets infrastructure and exchanges.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues and escalate as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote support for global IP desk incidents.
• Troubleshoot and configure Cisco, Arista, and Juniper devices.
• Coordinate with Cisco/Juniper TAC and vendors for escalations.
• Manage incident tickets and runbooks; ensure timely restoration of services.
• Provide after-hours on-call support on a rotating schedule.
• Liaise with NOC and field teams to ensure service readiness and handovers.
