Job summary

Leoforce is seeking a dynamic Import/Export Coordinator to manage end-to-end cross-border shipments in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will ensure compliance, coordinate with brokers, and prepare essential documents for timely deliveries.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in import/export, strong organizational and communication skills, and familiarity with regulatory requirements. This is a permanent, full-time role with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in import/export in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of import/export regulations and customs procedures.
• FDA regulations experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency with import/export software and MS Office.
• Analytical skills to interpret import/export data.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all import/export activities ensuring compliance with local and international laws.
• Interface with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and shipping lines for timely, cost-effective delivery.
• Prepare and process import/export documents (bills of lading, packing lists, invoices, customs declarations).
• Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock to minimize storage costs.
• Stay updated on import/export regulations, tariffs, and trade agreements; advise management.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Develop strategies to optimize processes and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Audit import/export processes and documentation for compliance and accuracy.
• Provide regular reports on activities, costs, and performance.
