Job summary

NNR Global Logistics in the United States is seeking an Import/Export Agent to manage end-to-end international shipments, ensuring compliance and optimizing transport solutions. You will coordinate air, ocean, and trucking, and build strong client relationships.

Ideal candidate has HS diploma, experience in international freight forwarding, knowledge of TMS/CRM, and strong negotiation and inside sales skills to support customer service and growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement High School diploma or GED.
• Experience in international freight forwarding operations both Air and Ocean.
• Knowledge of TMS, CRM software, and Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with international trade regulations and shipping logistics.
• Strong negotiation skills and customer-focused account management.
• Ability to coordinate complex transportation across multiple carriers and 3PLs.
• Experience with NVOCC operations is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of FDA regulations related to international shipping is a plus.
• Strong organizational and communications skills for client interaction and sales.
• Excellent inside sales and service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Utilize mulitple platforms to track shipments, generate quotes, and update clients.
• Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, trade laws, and safety standards across all shipments.
• Lead client communication efforts through inside sales activities, providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues promptly.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of transportation management systems (TMS), CRM software, and Microsoft Office tools
• Familiarity with international trade regulations, trade compliance procedures, and shipping logistics including international air and ocean freight
• Excellent negotiation skills coupled with a customer-focused approach to account management and client relationship management
• Ability to coordinate complex transportation planning activities across multiple carriers and 3PL providers
• Experience working with NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier) operations is highly desirable
• Knowledge of FDA regulations related to international shipping is a plus
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in contracts, pricing strategies, lead generation efforts, and sales negotiation
• Effective communication skills for client interaction, inside sales initiatives, and team collaboration
