Job summary

A-LIGN is seeking a Senior Director of Solutions Engineering to own the pre-sales function globally, building and guiding a high-performing team of Solutions Engineers. You will define strategy across SOC, ISO, PCI, FedRAMP, CMMC, HITRUST, and HIPAA, and partner with Sales and Service Delivery to synchronize revenue growth with delivery margin.

You’ll mentor leaders, drive multi-framework engagements from discovery to proposal, and shape standards, onboarding, and certification paths.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, information systems, computer science, or related discipline.
10+ years of IT security and compliance SME experience, including 3+ years leading pre-sales or technical teams.
Experience leading leaders and senior contributors; hiring, performance management, and development.
Experience contributing to revenue-driving initiatives; familiarity with multiple service offerings.
Relevant industry certifications.

Responsibilities

Own pre-sales strategy for global sales and serve as SME for service delivery frameworks.
Lead multi-team engagement across SMB to Enterprise sales and complex client pursuits.
Advise on technical positioning and deal strategy across portfolio.
Define onboarding, enablement, and certification paths to reduce ramp time.
Govern handoffs from pre-sales to delivery with clear architecture briefs.
