Job summary

USCOR JAS FORWARDING (USA), INC. is seeking a Business Development Manager to grow gross profit and market share in international freight forwarding and logistics services.

You will develop relationships with new and existing customers and travel within the assigned territory. The role requires deep knowledge of air/ocean imports/exports, strong consultative selling skills, and the ability to manage complex sales cycles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent industry experience will be considered.
• 5+ years of business development experience, ideally within international freight forwarding and logistics services.
• Experience selling in verticals such as Projects, Pharma & Healthcare, Automotive, Aerospace & Defense, Technology, and Energy Solutions.
• Experience with CMS system

Responsibilities

• Utilize market data and develop sales strategies to increase customer base.
• Travel throughout assigned territory to meet with regular and prospective customers.
• Provide pricing, credit terms, and prepare sales contracts for orders obtained.
• Provide activity reports and sales plans for the assigned territory.
• Develop and maintain strong business relationships.
• Adhere to all requirements outlined in the Sales Policy.
• Other duties may be assigned.
