Job summary

JAS Worldwide is seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager to drive growth in gross profit and market share by developing ongoing relationships with new and existing customers. You will lead sales initiatives and coordinate with cross‑functional teams to expand our freight forwarding and logistics services.

Qualifications

5+ years of business development experience in international freight forwarding and logistics.
Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent industry experience will be considered.
Experience with CRM and CMS tools.
Thorough knowledge of freight forwarding industry including air/ocean imports/exports and customs brokerage.

Responsibilities

Develop sales strategies to increase customer base and market share.
Travel within assigned territory to meet regular and prospective customers.
Provide pricing, credit terms, and prepare sales contracts.
Prepare activity reports and sales plans for the territory.
Build and maintain strong business relationships across customers and partners.
Adhere to all requirements outlined in the Sales Policy.
