Job summary

Block is seeking a senior operations leader to define and manage the global external workforce and partner strategy for seller onboarding. You will own the operating model for third-party providers, vendors, and BPO partners, ensuring scalable, cost-efficient outcomes while upholding quality and compliance across markets.

The role sits at the intersection of operations, workforce strategy, governance, finance, procurement, legal, and regional execution.

Qualifications

12+ years in operations, vendor or partner management or similar roles.
Experience managing third-party providers, BPOs or outsourced delivery at scale.
Strong knowledge of SLAs, governance, scorecards and business reviews.
Experience making build-vs-buy decisions and managing related tradeoffs.
Financial and analytical acumen, including cost modeling and ROI analysis.
Ability to influence senior stakeholders and align cross-functionally.
Experience in fintech, commerce, or SaaS-based customer operations is preferred.
Clear communication and independent, strategic execution capability.
Experience improving workflows and customer outcomes using AI.

Responsibilities

Define and manage the global external workforce strategy for onboarding.
Establish partner governance, performance scorecards, and escalation mechanisms.
Oversee the BPO and vendor operating model for onboarding work.
Influence Sales, Finance, Procurement, Legal and regional teams.
Develop leaders and drive a culture of accountability and operational discipline.
