Job summary

Dow External Manufacturing Sourcing Manager position can be located in Midland (MI), Houston (TX), Terneuzen (NLD) or Tarragona (ESP). You will define sourcing opportunities, develop strategies, leverage supplier relationships and negotiate to optimize sustained value for Dow.

You will analyze market conditions, lead RFx/bid processes, manage risk and collaborate with internal partners to ensure safety, compliance and a strong supplier network across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree OR relevant military experience at or above U.S. E5 or Canadian rank, or 10 years of experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience.
• For U.S. applicants, must be eligible to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship is available.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to clarify purchase scope and service requirements.
• Develop sourcing strategies and lead supplier qualification, RFx, bidding and negotiations.
• Assess risk and manage market and supplier activities.
• Drive competitive and reliable purchases meeting safety and compliance requirements.
• Lead supplier performance evaluation and SRM programs for continuous improvement.
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and suppliers; guide small projects.
