Job summary

Dow Inc. seeks an External Manufacturing Sourcing Manager to define sourcing opportunities, develop strategies, leverage supplier relationships, and negotiate to deliver sustained value. Locations include Midland MI, Houston TX, Terneuzen NL, and Tarragona ESP.

Strong analytical and leadership skills required to lead projects and drive cost savings. You will analyze market conditions, manage supplier performance, and ensure safety, qualification, and compliance in all activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant military experience (U.S. E5 or Canadian rank) or 10 years of related work experience.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• U.S. work authorization without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Clarify purchase scope and service requirements with stakeholders.
• Drive value from the market and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Assess risk profiles of markets and suppliers.
• Develop sourcing strategies meeting safety and compliance requirements.
• Lead supplier qualification, RFI/RFQ/RFP, and negotiate with suppliers.
