Dow has an exciting opportunity for an External Manufacturing Sourcing Manager. This role can be located in Midland, MI, Houston, TX, Terneuzen (NLD) or Tarragona (ESP).

You will define sourcing opportunities, develop and align sourcing strategies, leverage supplier relationships, analyze market conditions, and negotiate with suppliers to optimize sustained value for Dow. Collaboration with internal partners is essential.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or relevant military experience at or above U.S. E5 / Canadian rank, or 10 years of relevant work experience.
• 5+ years of relevant working experience.
• For U.S. applicants, must be eligible to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship provided.

Aufgaben

• Partner with stakeholders to clarify purchase scope and service requirements.
• Leverage market knowledge and best practices to drive value and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Assess and manage risk profile of market, supplier, and purchases.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for competitive, safe purchases.
• Lead supplier qualification, RFI, RFQ/RFP, bidding, evaluation and negotiations.
• Analyze problems, challenge inefficiencies, and evaluate new solutions.
• Negotiate and implement commercial agreements in line with regional strategies.
• Conduct Supplier Performance Evaluation and drive SRM improvements via KPIs.
• Use influential leadership to elevate the workgroup's performance.
