Job summary

JAS Worldwide is seeking an Export Specialist to manage documentation and coordination for ocean and air exports, ensuring compliance with regulations. The role involves interacting with customers, agents, and internal teams to support bookings, rates, invoicing and issue resolution.

The position requires strong organization, clear communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. 100% office-based environment with standard business hours and the potential for growth within the logistics

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Fluency in English required; additional languages preferred.
• Experience in freight forwarding industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate documentation for export activities.
• Coordinate cargo pickup/transfer and monitor status.
• Communicate with export authorities, customers and suppliers to ensure lawful operations.
• Obtain spot rates when necessary.
• Communicate with overseas agents and clients about pre-alerts, rates and shipment status.
• Track shipments and update customers/agents on status.
