Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker seeks a Global Strategy Lead, Data Centers, to own the growth strategy, GTM execution and commercial performance for SEF’s Data Center vertical across NA, Europe and Asia. This remote role reports to SEF and requires shaping where we play and how we win with hyperscale, colocation and enterprise customers.

Based in North America, you’ll build a multi-year roadmap, partner with regional sales, product and engineering, and translate market signals into a competitive value

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, marketing or related field.
• 8–10 years in marketing, sales, product management or business development within industrial, engineered products or construction-adjacent markets.
• Deep data center market knowledge including hyperscale, colocation ecosystems.
• Direct experience with engineered fastening applications and assembly automation.
• Track record of building a growth strategy from market analysis through to executed commercial plan.
• Proven influence across a global matrix spanning multiple regions and cultures.
• Willingness to travel 10–20% (domestic and international).

Responsibilities

• Own global Data Center vertical strategy — market sizing, segmentation, prioritization and a multi-year roadmap.
• Develop and execute the annual strategic business plan for revenue, gross margin and share gain, with regional plans that roll up to a single global number.
• Continuously analyze target markets — hyperscale, colocation, EPC/MEP contractors, OEMs, power distribution, cooling, etc., and define market-specific value propositions.
• Translate industry signals into commercial action and the future-state solution pipeline.
• Lead demand generation strategy and go-to-market execution with regional alignment.
• Own the commercial health of the vertical — pipeline, revenue, gross margin, and funnel metrics.
• Align and influence a matrixed global network across regions.
