Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is seeking an Application Engineer for Data Centers to serve as the technical voice of the customer within the SEF team. The role is remote/hybrid with up to 50% travel to data center campuses, OEMs, and EPC yards in Michigan and nearby sites.

You will own design-in, joint development, and field rollout, coordinating across Sales, Product Management, Engineering, and Quality to deliver the best fastener and automation solutions for hyperscalers and server OEMs.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field is required.
• 5+ years in application engineering, field engineering, or technical sales of fasteners or engineered components.
• Experience selling or specifying data center projects (construction, electrical, or infrastructure).
• Reading drawings and specifications; 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred) is a plus.
• Proficiency with MS Office tools (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, SharePoint).

Responsabilidades

• Design-in and specification for data center projects.
• Engage at the design and development stage to get SEF joints written into OEM drawings and master specs.
• Lead joint development, trials, and validation with customers.
• Own technical escalations and provide corrective action plans.
• Collaborate across SEF and wider Stanley Black & Decker teams.
