Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Production Service Engineer II to maintain stability, safety, and high availability of global network infrastructure.

You will deploy critical software and changes across our extensive network, diagnose complex issues, and drive process improvements to maximize change safety. You will work with cross-functional teams and SMEs to resolve bugs and implement robust solutions.

Formación

• 2+ years of experience administering Linux/Unix systems in large-scale content distributed environments.
• Proven experience in monitoring, administering, and troubleshooting high-availability platform environments.
• Solid understanding of SQL and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, Shell).
• Good working knowledge of core networking technologies and internet protocols, including TCP/IP, WAN, and DNS.
• Problem-Solver & SME Collaborator: partner with SMEs to identify issues and implement robust resolutions.
• Adaptability & prioritization to work in a dynamic environment.

Responsabilidades

• Deploying critical software, metadata, network, and platform changes safely across global networks.
• Diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues to maintain platform stability.
• Identify and implement operational process improvements that maximize change safety and efficiency.
• Continuously improve internal tools, monitoring alerts, and documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and SMEs to isolate bugs and implement long-term resolutions.
