Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience administering Linux/Unix systems in large-scale content distributed environments.
• Proven experience in monitoring, administering, and troubleshooting high-availability platform environments.
• Solid understanding of SQL and scripting languages (Python, Bash, Shell).
• Good working knowledge of core networking technologies and internet protocols, including TCP/IP, WAN, and DNS.

Responsibilities

• Deploying critical software, metadata, network, and platform changes safely, accurately, and efficiently across all global networks.
• Diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues within areas of specialty to maintain platform stability.
• Processing & Safety Improvement: identify, design, and implement operational process improvements that maximize change safety and operational efficiency.
• Tooling & Documentation: continuously improve internal tools, monitoring alerts, operational procedures, and technical documentation.
• Working closely with cross-functional teams and SMEs fostering positive cross-group relationships, isolate software/platform bugs, and long-term technical resolutions.
