Job summary

Check Point Software Technologies is seeking a Sales Engineer in Stamford, CT to bridge our technical solutions with client needs and drive cybersecurity initiatives across industries. You will partner with sales to design, present, and implement end-to-end security plans that align with customer goals.

You’ll communicate Check Point’s technology vision to executives and practitioners, and lead opportunities from discovery through closure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of sales/solutions/systems engineering and pre-sales experience.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Solid understanding of networking and security principles and typical customer architectures.
• Ability to design and articulate an end-to-end security solution for a customer’s environment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Relevant certifications highly preferred, e.g. CCNP / CISSP/ CCSA / CCSE.
• Ability to do 50% travel including international travel.
• Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship from an employer now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with customers as a trusted advisor for the end-to-end technical relationship.
• Develop a deep understanding of the customer’s technical environment and align with Check Point solutions.
• Collaborate with sales in account planning and progression of opportunities.
• Demonstrate knowledge on cybersecurity trends and competitive positioning in sales opportunities.
• Respond to RFPs/RFIs.
• Present Check Point’s technology vision to executives and practitioners.
• Drive meetings with strong communication and effective presentations/demonstrations.
• Take ownership of accounts with thought leadership and customer-first focus.
• Explain product features, benefits, and competitive positioning clearly.
• Leverage resources to drive expansion and cross-sell across product lines.
• Coordinate with Solutions Architects, Specialists, CSMs, PMs, and Engineering.
• Perform special projects and develop technical skills within the SE community.
• Continuously investing in yourself and participating in industry events.
