Job summary

Illumina in the United States seeks a Senior Territory Account Manager to drive sales objectives across the assigned territory, develop plans, forecast, and provide market feedback. The role is field-based, customer-facing with home office flexibility.

The position requires 5+ years of life science capital sales experience, deep genomics knowledge, and a proven ability to grow strategic accounts and build long-term relationships in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of life science capital sales experience.
• Knowledge of clinical and research genetics/genomics.
• Experience with key clinical/research accounts in Houston.
• Strong consultative, strategic selling and relationship building.
• Ability to prospect independently and manage multi-tiered sales.

Responsibilities

• Develop territory and account-specific sales plans.
• Execute sales plan to meet quotas and forecast accurately.
• Manage CRM data and sales pipeline.
• Deliver seminars and consultations on Illumina products.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to meet customer needs.
• Identify opportunities to grow the customer base.
