Illumina seeks a Senior Territory Account Manager to drive sales in US territories including Texas, with a focus on key clinical and research customers. This field-based, customer-facing role covers territory planning, forecasting, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver Illumina’s genomic solutions.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in life science capital sales, a deep understanding of NGS, and a proven ability to build long-term customer relationships in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of clinical and research applied genetics and genomics.
• Demonstrable experience with key clinical and research accounts in Houston.
• Typically requires 5+ years of life science capital sales experience.
• Experience in consultative and strategic selling environments.
• Experience winning/growing business and establishing long-term customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develop territory and account-specific sales plan.
• Execute the sales plan to meet quotas.
• Forecasting and sales pipeline management.
• Deliver technical seminars and presentations on Illumina products.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to achieve customer goals.
• Expands customer base and maintains strong connections at various levels.
