Job summary

Illumina is seeking an Executive Territory Account Manager for the Mid Atlantic region. This field-based, remote-friendly role focuses on developing and executing strategic sales plans to meet territory growth targets in the Maryland area.

The position requires 8+ years in life science capital sales, strong clinical/genomics knowledge, and ability to lead cross-functional teams. A bachelor’s degree is required; advanced degrees are preferred.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of proven life science capital sales experience.
• Experience working with clinical and life science accounts in the Rockville, MD area.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or PhD with relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop territory and account-specific sales plans.
• Execute plans to meet sales quotas and forecast pipeline.
• Field-based activities 50%+; expand customer base.
• Provide regular status updates on opportunities and trends.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver value to customers.
