Job summary

PowerSecure Brand is seeking a Generator Field Technician to perform ongoing maintenance and repair of contracted and non-contracted generator and power distribution equipment at customer sites, including data centers. You will provide technical support to customers on operational aspects and work with a team to ensure safety and reliability.

The role requires extensive field experience with generator systems, knowledge of LV/MV electrical systems, and the ability to interpret schematics.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing generator systems across different sizes and applications.
• Familiarity with 500kW+ systems and preventative maintenance.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics for diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites daily to maintain and repair generator and power distribution equipment.
• Provide 24x7 on-call support as required.
• Complete paperwork including Field Service Reports and time sheets.
• Coordinate on-site subcontractors and maintain company tools and vehicle.
