Job summary

PowerSecure seeks a Service Technician – Commercial Generators to maintain and repair contracted and non-contracted generation and distribution equipment. You will provide customer support on operational aspects and coordinate with the Product Support team.

The role emphasizes extensive field experience, reading schematics, and strong troubleshooting abilities. Expect daily travel, on-call duties, and opportunities for advancement with company training and benefits.

Qualifications

• Level II requires 3+ years servicing generator systems.
• Level III requires 6+ years with 500KW+ experience.
• Level IV requires 10+ years with advanced maintenance expertise.
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent; related military experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Daily travel with independent work structure.
• Provide 24x7 on-call services as required.
• Maintain and safeguard equipment, tools, and instruments.
• Battery installations and replacements.
• Complete all required reports timely and accurately.
