Job summary

PowerSecure, Inc. is seeking a Service Technician to perform maintenance and repair of commercial generators and power distribution equipment.

The role includes providing customer technical support on operational and maintenance aspects, and working on-site at customer facilities. Ideal candidates will have multi-year field experience with generators, be proficient in reading schematics and wiring diagrams, and be able to travel to sites and work a flexible on-call schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; related military experience or field experience may apply.
• Level II–IV technicians with multi-year field experience on generator systems and switchgear.
• Experience with 500 kW+ engines, preventative maintenance, and ATS repairs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair on generator and power distribution equipment.
• Provide on-site technical support to customers on operational/maintenance topics.
• Complete Field Service Reports, Time Sheets, and other required documentation.
• Travel daily to customer sites and provide 24x7 on-call support as needed.
