Cooper’s Hawk Winery in Northern Virginia is seeking a General Manager to oversee a high-volume, full-service restaurant with scratch kitchen, tasting room and a thriving Wine Club. You’ll lead with passion and purpose, ensuring operational excellence, delivering memorable guest experiences, and growing a vibrant Wine Club community.

You will lead and develop a team of managers, drive Guest experiences, achieve sales and service standards, and partner across departments to deliver uncompromising

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of General Manager experience in a full-service restaurant.
• Scratch kitchen experience preferred.
• Proven ability to coach and develop leaders through feedback and performance management.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Must be able to work 50-60 hours per week.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Must read, understand and communicate in English.

• Adapt quickly to changing business needs while maintaining operational excellence.
• Drive disciplined execution through planning, prioritization, and follow-through.
• Achieve sales, profit, operational, and Wine Club goals using sound business acumen and data-driven decision making.
• Partner with department managers to achieve financial and operational results.
• Foster collaboration across restaurant teams and lead with open, respectful communication.
• Partner with the Executive Kitchen Manager and management team to drive operational success.
• Deliver Uncompromising Hospitality by creating memorable Team Member and Guest experiences every shift.
• Champion the Wine Club by inspiring enthusiasm and ensuring Members feel valued.
• Lead change with confidence, helping the team adapt while maintaining focus and performance.
• Model professionalism and passion for culinary excellence while celebrating team successes.
