Cooper’s Hawk Winery in Northern Virginia is seeking a General Manager to lead a high-volume, full-service restaurant with scratch kitchen, tasting room and a thriving Wine Club. You will inspire a team of leaders, drive guest experiences, and develop career paths while maintaining operational excellence.

The role requires at least 2 years of GM experience in a full-service setting; compensation ranges from $90,000 to $112,000 per year, plus a potential 20% bonus, based on experience and equity.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of General Manager experience in a full-service restaurant.
• Scratch kitchen experience preferred.
• Proven ability to coach and develop leaders through feedback and performance management.
• Strong business acumen with financial decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to read, understand and communicate in English.
• Flexibility for long hours and weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including kitchen, front-of-house, retail/tasting room, and Wine Club.
• Approve hourly team member hiring decisions and mentor managers through coaching and feedback.
• Foster growth and career progression with clear development opportunities.
• Drive disciplined execution and achieve sales, profit, and Wine Club goals using data-driven decisions.
