Job summary

HMSHost is seeking a General Manager I to oversee a QSR restaurant or cluster, ensuring cleanliness, staffing, and high operational standards while driving profitability. You will lead a team, manage scheduling, coach staff, and uphold brand and safety requirements in a fast-paced environment.

Reporting to Operations leadership, you will utilize data to monitor progress toward goals, develop staff, and implement marketing and guest-experience initiatives across the unit.

Qualifications

• Requires 3+ years P&L management for multiple annual cycles in restaurant operations.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage staffing, schedules and performance.
• Knowledge of HMSHost policies, products, service standards, equipment and operations.
• Ability to read and interpret financial/operational data to meet unit goals.

Responsibilities

• Open and close responsibilities and ensure checks are completed for opening/closing duties.
• Direct staff deployment to maximize profitability and meet business goals.
• Hire, develop and coach associates, ensuring onboarding and compliance with training programs.
• Maintain brand standards, safety, and health regulations across the unit(s).
• Oversee inventory, vendor relations, and ensure timely orders and deliveries.
