Job summary

Management Performance Associates is seeking a General Manager to lead our HVAC/plumbing division in California. You will own the division’s operations and financial performance, guiding field teams from dispatch to profitability while upholding safety and quality standards.

You will drive growth by expanding commercial maintenance contracts and residential plans, optimize workflows, and ensure exceptional customer relations.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of project management experience in construction.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction science or related field, or equivalent certs.
• Extensive HVAC and general construction knowledge.
• California driver's license with clean DMV record.
• Strong communication, organizational, and Excel skills.
• Willing to work flexible hours, overtime, and weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee division operations, P&L, and safety compliance.
• Manage field technicians, dispatch, and workflows to maximize efficiency.
• Develop sales strategies for commercial and residential services.
• Maintain customer relations and resolve project disputes.
• Lead budgeting, pricing, and profitability initiatives.
