Job summary

Job Juncture in California seeks a General Manager to lead our HVAC/plumbing division, optimize operations, and scale revenue. You will own the division's P&L, manage field technicians, dispatch, safety compliance, and client relationships.

Responsibilities include pricing strategy, team leadership, scheduling efficiencies, driving growth in commercial maintenance and residential plans, and ensuring profitability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience managing projects in construction (3–5 years) or a bachelor’s degree in construction science or related field.
• Extensive knowledge and work experience in HVAC and general construction.
• California Driver License with clean DMV record.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills.
• Typing proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Ability to work in a team environment and use independent judgment to prioritize tasks.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, overtime and weekends.

Responsibilities

• P&L Ownership: Manage the division’s budget, labor/material costs, and pricing models to hit gross margin targets.
• Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor licensed plumbers, apprentices, and office staff.
• Operational Excellence: Oversee dispatching, scheduling, and job workflows to maximize efficiency.
• Business Growth: Develop and execute sales strategies to expand maintenance contracts and market share.
• Customer Relations: Escalation point for inquiries and project disputes to protect brand reputation.
