Job summary

KingRecruitingServices is seeking a General Manager to lead our HVAC/plumbing division in California. You will own the division's operations and profitability, overseeing field technicians, dispatch, and P&L.

This role focuses on optimizing workflows, growing commercial maintenance contracts and residential plans, while maintaining safety and quality, and representing the brand with clients.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of project management in construction or related field.
• Extensive HVAC knowledge and general construction experience.
• California Driver License with clean DMV record.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and administrative abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Ability to work in a team and prioritize under pressure.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, overtime, and weekends.
• Familiarity with job costing, scheduling, and estimating software.
• License: Journeyman/Master Plumber is a major plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the division's P&L, manage budget, and implement pricing strategies.
• Lead field operations, dispatch, and technician scheduling.
• Recruit, train, and mentor plumbers and office staff.
• Develop sales plans to grow maintenance contracts and market share.
• Serve as final escalation for customer inquiries and disputes, protecting brand reputation.
