Job summary

Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience in managing projects in construction.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction science or related fields, or equivalent certification.
• Extensive knowledge and work experience in HVAC and general construction.
• California Driver License with clean DMV record.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel Software programs.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule, overtime and weekends as required.
• Familiarity with computers and software programs for job costing, scheduling, and estimating.
• Ability to be flexible, decisive, and work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Coordinate several major activities at once, while analyzing and resolving specific problems.
• Establish and maintain good working relationships with many different people inside and outside of the company.

Responsibilities

• P&L Ownership: Manage the division's budget, track labor and material costs, and implement strategic pricing models to hit gross profit margins.
• Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor licensed plumbers, apprentices, and office staff.
• Operational Excellence: Oversee daily dispatching, scheduling, and job workflows to maximize technician efficiency.
• Business Growth: Develop and execute sales strategies to expand maintenance contracts and market share.
• Customer Relations: Act as the final point of escalation for customer inquiries and project disputes.
