Job summary

Community Choice Financial Family of Brands is seeking a General Manager for the Easy Money location in Birmingham, AL. The role leads daily operations, drives store revenue, ensures compliance, and delivers world‑class customer service.

You’ll coach teams, manage risk, and partner with leadership to grow the brand. The position offers an hourly base pay of $19.25 with performance bonuses, a comprehensive training program, and advancement opportunities across the brand network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years’ supervisory or leadership experience in retail, finance, or related industries.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in using phones, Point of Sale, Microsoft Office, and other systems.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and personal vehicle to use throughout the workday.
• Must be at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama).
• Background check required as per policy.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall store performance by meeting or exceeding Company performance standards.
• Coach, lead, and develop team members to grow business and store revenue.
• Identify local marketing strategies and participate in community events to drive growth.
• Evaluate loan/pawn applications and related transactions within risk limits.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and local/state laws.
• Oversee audits, cash handling, and loss prevention procedures.
• Open/close procedures and train staff in keyholder duties.
• Hire and retain staff; develop work schedules to meet store needs.
• Handle complex customer situations with integrity and professionalism.
• Maintain store appearance and coordinate marketing materials.
