Job summary

Community Choice Financial Family of Brands is seeking a General Manager in Cullman, AL. The GM will lead daily operations, manage a team, ensure compliance, and drive revenue through customer‑focused service and local marketing efforts.

The role offers hands‑on coaching, executive exposure, and development programs designed to enhance growth, career advancement, and earning potential within a fast‑paced retail/financial services environment.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years’ experience with supervisory/leadership in retail, finance, service, or related industries.
• Operations leadership experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and personal vehicle.
• Must be at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama).
• Background check required.
• Able to meet the physical demands (standing, and moving up to 25 pounds).

Responsibilities

• Manage overall store performance by meeting or exceeding standards.
• Coach, lead, and develop team members to grow business and revenue.
• Lead local marketing strategies and partnerships to drive growth.
• Evaluate loan/pawn applications and assess risk within limits.
• Ensure compliance with laws and company procedures; assist audits.
• Oversee cash handling, loss prevention, and store security.
• Open/close procedures and train staff in keyholder duties.
• Participate in hiring and retention of staff.
• Schedule work according to budget and store needs.
• Handle escalated customer issues with professionalism.
• Maintain store appearance and planogram; coordinate promos and external marketing.
• Work across shift patterns, including weekends; maintain full-time schedule.
