Job summary

The Travelers Indemnity Company is seeking a Technical Specialist, General Liability, to manage and investigate moderate complexity injury and/or property damage claims. You will determine coverage, evaluate liability, and coordinate payments within authority while mentoring Claim Reps.

Expect collaboration with counsel, adherence to licensing requirements, and ongoing adaptation to new technology and AI tools to drive timely, fair resolutions. Hartford area relocation may be needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Two years of bodily injury or property damage claim experience.
• Active adjuster license required where state law applies.

Responsibilities

• Manage active caseload of injury and/or property damage claims from notice to resolution.
• Investigate claims by contacting all relevant parties to determine coverage and liability.
• Provide timely, professional communication to customers and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with counsel to support litigation strategies.
• Maintain accurate records in claims management systems.
• Adapt to new technology implementations and AI tools.
